From the rolling hills of Rwanda’s Kamonyi district comes a coffee rooted in resilience and community. Grown by women farmers who tend small plots of land with care, this lot is processed at the Mbizi washing station – now operated by Aline and Odette, two women who took ownership and founded the “Women Coffee Extension” cooperative. Their mission goes beyond coffee: by distributing goats and fertilizer, they support local families and empower widowed and low-income women to thrive.
